Segway Spinners

Yep, they're real. My wife surprised me this Christmas by giving me a set of spinners for my Segway. She facetiously asked me if I didn't think I already got enough attention when I'm out on it. Imagine that, what nerve? They look sharp on my titanium colored machine. Now I figure that I need to get a hydraulic system set up so it will bounce up and down while I am waiting to cross a street, etc. Then to complete my new look, I figure I need a wide brimmed felt hat with a big colorful feather, a pair of dark sunglasses and maybe even a gold front tooth so it would look like a real pimp-mobile. Funny, huh?

Relaxing with Grandkids

I realize there is no Segway in this picture, just a very happy grandpa with two of his youngest little varmit grandkids. We are all sitting in my power lift chair. They like to ride in it as well as sit with me in it on a Friday Fun Night and watch a movie.

February Happenings

Part of our 'Friday Fun Night' activities with the grandkids (they stay with us each Friday night and we watch a movie, eat popcorn, other snacks, and just have fun) this week involved taking them to Tanner's elementary school carnival. They were enjoying their cotton candy while hamming it up for a picture with their Mum.
During our combined 50 years working in public education both as a principal and teacher, we both attended many school carnivals. This one provided us with an entirely different experience. Instead of being in charge or working, we were able to just enjoy being with our grandkids. Once again, Segwayless I wouldn't have been able to be here with them. Yea Segway!!
