Greenbo State Resort Park Visit

This past weekend we took a 'one-night getaway' traveling to Greenup County, KY and staying at the Greenbo State Park Resort. Pictured above is myself with Park Manager Carey Lyle. The personnel at the resort made us feel extremely welcome. The Segway was a big attention getter on the trip. A couple of the State Park personnel rode it, including Mr. Lyle.
Greenup County is known as the home of one of our favorite authors and educators, Jesse Stuart. Nice trip.
On the way home we stopped to visit the Mountain Folk Art Center in Morehead, KY. We found out that they were having a weekend folk art fair, so naturally we visited it. Pretty interesting stuff, but I guess that I don't understand folk art very well. Although I do find it interesting, to me it looks more like a 1st grade art project which has gone awry. (No offense to anyone - I hope). The above picture was taken by another visitor who asked me if he could take my picture beside the car, so I asked him to take one for me too.
