A Snowmobile It Ain't
This week We had a Dr's appt. in Lexington and thought we might stop at the mall (which we did), henceforth I decided to take the Segway. As you can see, there was some snow on the ground. No problem in taking the picture, but..... after the shot was taken, I decided to ride on over to the SUV and load it up. Well, the Segway tires had settled down in the snow and when I asked it to 'mush' onward, a curious thing happened. The tires couldn't gain traction and started spinning (everything at this point OK). Since they couldn't gain footing, they started spinning backwards (in an effort to find solid ground), which caused the Segway to fly out from under me, which in turn left me flat on my back, staring up at the sky. No one was looking and there were no injuries (except for a somewhat sore neck). After all - all's well that ends well. ('cept I did hear a lot of 'I told you so's' eminating from the passenger seat of the car on the ride to Lexington).
