Great Flick!

Well the Segwayman finally got to see the movie 'Mall Cop' on a cold winter weekday. The grandvarmits were out of school, so the whole crew went, Courtney, Mike, Melody and the three little ones. We went to the theatre, bought tickets, went in and found our seats and settled down for the picture. After a few minutes it started and suddenly the theater went dark. It seems like we lost power. The manager came in and asked us all to go to the lobby, where they would give us a free ticket because of the problem. We stuck around for several minutes, planning on what we were going to do. Suddenly again, the electricity was restored and we returned to our seats and saw the movie. The movie was very funny and slapstickish at times. Kevin James was cast perfectly as the leading character, Paul Blart. We were glad that we stayed and got to enjoy the movie.

I saw a distinct moral to 'Mall Cop' especially when looking at my own life and seeing the effect that having a Segway has had on me. That moral being - Whenever one gets on a Segway, one suddenly becomes endowed with super-like powers. Truly amazing!

Christmas Thanks

Wow, what a neat Christmas gift! Was I surprised, or what? My two daughters found an airbrush artist in Wisconsin who took the helmet they had sent and airbrushed flames and 'Segwayman' on the back (bottom picture). Now the Segwayman can Segway around in real style. Mike Collins, a friend, once told me while laughing (he's funny), that whenever he thinks of me and the Segway he's reminded of the 60's Steppenwolf song 'Born To Be Wild'. Now I can begin to look the part, huh? I bet Kevin James in the movie 'Mall Cop' can't top this for style points. Not only would I like to thank my daughters for the really cool gift, thanks also go out to Kurt Carloni of 'Custom Motorcycle Paint & Airbrushing', located in Oconomowoc, WI. for doing such a great job. His wife also has MS and I sincerely hope she's doing well. Thanks again Kurt.

It's very comforting to know that my family is so supportive and understanding when it comes to me and my limitations. Thanks guys!

Seasons Greetings

Well if it ain't ole' Segway Claus himself, complete with his three little Christmas elves. Check out the Christmas lights and bells and bow on the Segway.

The Segwayman's New Years resolution is to make sure and see the movie 'Mall Cop' when it opens in theaters on January 16. I don't see how Kevin James can have as much fun on his Segway as I've had so far. We'll see.
