Physical Therapy

Ellen Sutton, Physical Therapist at Scott County Physical Therapy on the Segway. I attend physical therapy three days a week and it is helping me recover from the hip replacement surgery. Wanda and I both have been pleased with the care she has given me. She always takes the time to address any specific needs that may have cropped up as I progress.
Laying on the table, getting ready to exercise. For this picture Ellen hid her whips and other sundry torture devices because she didn't want anyone seeing them and knowing what anguish and torment I have to go through while there. No, seriously, she's OK (for a UK fan, that is!).

Turkey Day '08

Turkey Day '08 brought about some changes to the household of the Segwayman. The biggest change being the recovery from the hip replacemet surgery. Still recuperating, although that didn't stop me from smoking a couple of turkey breasts for the holiday meal. Even though I still could not place any weight on my right leg, I could still putter about on my trusty ole' Segway. The turkey breasts were placed in the smoker for app. 7-8 hours (we actually got up at 5:30 AM to begin the process).

Middle grandvarmit, AnnMarie with some of her Thanksgiving Day treats. They were as good as they look.

AnnMarie reading a piece she had written (and illustrated) about what she was thankful for during the season. (Grandpa and Grandma both got a mention along with the rest of her family and two dogs, Milo and Magee)
