Jenny Wiley State Resort Park

It has been very hot here in Central Kentucky during the past week. As with most people with MS, the effects of heat on my body can set up some rather dire consequences. YUK! The weather was cooler Friday evening so we could get out and travel. We took a short trip to Jenny Wiley State Resort Park outside of Prestonsburg, KY where we dined on some very good ole' down home Eastern Kentucky cooking. (The Segwayman loves to eat). In addition, the mountain setting was beautiful. After being kept inside during some very hot days it was great to venture out and sightsee. Once again, all was right with the world.


Afterwards we attended a performance of the Kentucky Opry at the Mountain Arts Center. The Arts Center focuses on featuring music talent from the Eastern Kentucky Region. A real treat.
