How 'Bout Them Apples?

This morning Wanda and I just returned from Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital where I am trying out a new device made by Bioness, the arm stimulator as seen in the picture. Also in the picture is therapist, Laurie Nichols.
The device is worn on the arm while exercising my atrophied right arm muscles. Our plan is to go to Cardinal Hill 2-3 times a week for therapy (I used up my allotted 30 PT visits per calendar year because of my hip replacement surgery and the Bioness L-300 - these are Occupational Therapy visits - sometime along the way we'll make a decision about whether to obtain one for use at home or not). Most interesting device. Notice the fingers on my right hand actually extending because of the electrical stimulation. I haven't seen them (fingers) do that in quite a number of years, even then moving with limited motion. I've been telling people that my goal is to either glow in the dark because of the electrical impulses, or to become a real genuine Bionic Grandpa.
