Walkin' With Grandkids

Walking around the block with Tanner, Otis, and Sam. They were very excited to see grandpa walk again. On a recent visit to their house, I ventured upstairs (1st time in a very long time) which made them very happy.

Don't worry though, I'm still using the Segway (although not as much). But as I told a friend recently "It's just too much fun to give up". And I know that to most people, it's just a machine, but to me I've come to see it as much more than that. It truly gave me back my feelings of self worth. Besides, summer and fall festival seasons are coming to Kentucky soon where I most definitely will be using it.

Although I am slowly beginning to walk again, I'm not ready to jump out of the Segway nest yet.
